CLE's and DivorceCamp

The Chapter sponsors numerous continuing legal education seminars each year. DivorceCamp, an advanced seminar held each year in a resort setting, is well attended by leading family law lawyers, judges and other professionals.                                    

Amicus Briefs

The Chapter defers cases of social or legal significance to its Amicus Committee for "friends of the court" appellate brief consideration. Briefs reflect the opinion of a majority of the committee members who choose to write.

Legislative Lobbying


The Academy and its members keep actively involved in helping formulate positive legislation in matters pertaining to the family.
